CFB Huddle Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CFB Huddle (the "App," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use the App.

2. Description of Service

CFB Huddle provides college football scores, stats, Pick 'Em predictions, a College Football Playoff bracket challenge, and a social feed ("Huddle") where users can post and interact with other users' content.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission, and you may not create multiple accounts to evade a ban or restriction.

4. Community Guidelines and Zero Tolerance Policy

CFB Huddle has zero tolerance for hate speech, harassment, threats, and abusive behavior. When using the Huddle feed or any other feature that allows you to post or interact with other users, you agree that you will NOT:

• Post or share hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks a person or group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
• Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users
• Post sexually explicit, violent, or graphic content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Post spam, scams, or unauthorized advertising
• Share another person's private information without consent
• Post content that is illegal or promotes illegal activity

Normal sports fandom, competitive trash talk, and casual language are allowed. This policy targets hate speech, harassment, threats, and abuse — not typical rivalry banter.

5. Content Moderation

To enforce this policy, CFB Huddle provides:

• Reporting: You can report any post or comment you believe violates these Terms. Reports are reviewed by our team, and we act on valid reports — including removing content and suspending or banning the responsible account — typically within 24 hours.
• Blocking: You can block another user at any time. Once blocked, that user's content will no longer appear in your feed. Blocking also notifies us so we can review the blocked user's activity.
• Content Filtering: Posts are automatically screened for hate speech and other prohibited content before being published. We may remove content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to review, remove, or restrict access to any content or account at our discretion, with or without notice.

6. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of the content you post to CFB Huddle ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and store that content as necessary to operate the App. You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to post it.

7. Prohibited Conduct

In addition to the community guidelines above, you agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, other accounts, or our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation (e.g., through bots, scraping, or exploits)
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose

8. Third-Party Data and Content

CFB Huddle displays sports data, including scores, stats, and schedules, provided by CollegeFootballData.com and other third-party sources. This data is provided "as is," and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Team names, logos, and other trademarks referenced or displayed in the App are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in abusive behavior, or posted objectionable content. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us (see Section 13).

10. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores, stats, or other data will always be accurate or up to date.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CFB Huddle and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of use, or damages resulting from User Content posted by other users.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
